By mere coincidence, this episode drops in the aftermath of more penalty woes and the closest we've ever come (and probably ever will) to 'bringing it home since 66'. The first question I had was if you had ever been drunk at work? I feel July 12th 2021, brought with it my answer.
And my 2nd...How did it go? Did you find an improvement in your performance? Driving or operating heavy machinery, I imagine, could have been an issue?
Well, the lads in Another Round indeed showed signs of improvement in the workplace! A film worthy of celebrating, Thomas Vinterburgs tale of 4 middle age blokes experimenting with the effects of alcohol. What each man gains or loses from being slightly tipsy at work and day-to-day existence is humorous as it is ultimately tragic.
Mads Mikkelson can do everything, from playing cards with Bond to propping up Sam Worthington in Clash, being labelled a paedophile in The Hunt, and having old friends for dinner as Hannibal.
Was it Mads experience working with Worthington that led him down the path of cannibalism? Yes.
Sam Worthington's stupid face for dinner? I'll drink to that!
